Penn Pharma, an integrated global pharmaceutical drug developer and manufacturer based in South Wales, has appointed Hywel Evans as a Non Executive Director.

Non Executive Chairman at Penn Pharma, Mark Molyneux said:

"I am very pleased to welcome Hywel to the Board of Directors. He brings with him over 35 years of pharmaceutical experience to the organisation and a fresh perspective, having been in slightly different sectors. Hywel has served on several boards previously and will be instrumental in helping us shape our business strategy to achieve our ambitious global expansion plans in the coming years."

During his 35 year career, Hywel has occupied senior sales, marketing and management roles for AstraZeneca (formerly ICI Pharmaceuticals), Novo Nordisk, Takeda and the world’s largest contract research organisation – Quintiles. Hywel has also served on numerous boards and is currently Chairman of West Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust.
