Craig Rennie, Chief Executive, Penn, said: "We are delighted to be working with the Wales Quality Centre and to have the opportunity to help other companies learn from our experiences and business formula. Inside Welsh Industry is a great idea and I would urge all firms to become involved and seize the benefits on offer." The new three-year IWI scheme builds on a programme which has already helped more than 200 firms from all over Wales raise their performance and boost revenues. WQC Chairman, Vincent Kane explained: "To remain competitive in the global economy it is vital companies continuously improve and learn from best practice already at work in Welsh industry. Through sharing expertise firms can generate millions of pounds, boost Wales’ economy and develop a strong competitive edge. Penn is an example of a quality Welsh business and we’re delighted to have their support." Penn will host a visit on October 23rd focusing on Managing Growth & Change and Environmental Accreditation. Case studies will highlight Penn’s strategic decision to develop its people, knowledge-base and processes to maintain client focus and support the overall business goals that ensured the continued success of the company. Eleven other IWI visits will run from September to November hosted by companies such as British Airways, Ford and Axiom Manufacturing on topics as diverse as People & Development, Policy & Processes and Environment Strategy.
