The temperature-controlled warehouse, located at Pen-y-Fan Industrial Estate in Crumlin, will further support Penn’s existing clinical and commercial storage and distribution services.

The new warehouse creates an additional 2,400 pallet locations and will be able to hold several hundred thousand patient drug packs, increasing Penn’s storage and distribution capacity seven fold.

Baron Neil Kinnock said: "Penn is a truly inspirational Welsh company that is continuing to grow, expand and recruit in Gwent and the surrounding areas. It was an honour to be invited to open such an exciting development for Penn and I hope that the success continues."
