Dr King, a Qualified Person (QP) joins as Head of the Quality Control team following a period of eight years with Simbec Research Limited as a research pharmacist/QP.

With more than 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical sector, Mr King joins Penn at an exciting time during the companies growth and expansion. The Tredegar based company has recently opened US and Japanese offices making them an excellent choice for non-EU companies to use as a portal into the European market.

Dr King has worked across the UK in various pharmacies, from industrial and hospital to community and academic as well as spending five years at the University of Wales in Cardiff as a research scientist. Speaking on his appointment Dr King said: "The opportunity to work with such a fast growing business is excellent, I aim to support my team and assist the whole company’s growth strategy."
