Joanne McCafferty joined Penn in June 2008 as Head of HR reporting directly to the CEO and has since become Director of HR & EHS.

Joanne has many years experience in Senior Human Resource Management with GSK, Pirelli Cables Ltd, National Probation Service and Alcan/Novelis as Head of HR, Environment and Safety.

More recently Joanne has supported various businesses in a self-employed Senior HR advisory role identifying gaps in HR best practise - including organisational redesign and development, change management and introducing new HR processes in complex and challenging environments.

Joanne has an MSc in HR Management, is a chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development and is also Hay job evaluation and Thomas International psychometric testing qualified.
