- Wales Innovation Award
Sponsorship of the Wales Innovation Award in association with the Wales Quality Centre. A new award introduced in 2008 for all of Wales to showcase innovation in process, people, and services. - David Roberts
Sponsorship of the Paralympics gold medallist - Welsh Heritage Schools Initiative
As a result of a contract from Lady Trotman-Dickens, the executive chairperson of the Welsh Heritage Schools Initiative, Penn has provided the Penn Pharmaceutical Services Prize for the Science & Technology Category. - Christ College Brecon – Science Centre Project
Penn Pharma sponsors a science based scholarship program
- HRH The Prince of Wales Mayday Business Summit on Climate Change
Penn plays an active part in the UK Committee on Climate Change held in Cardiff. Participants include representatives from local and national businesses, and is aimed at challenging business, public services and community groups to raise awareness of climate change. Penn supports this initiative and has presented a paper on Carbon Reduction in Wales to the National Assembly for Wales Sustainability Committee in February 2008. - ISO 14001 Award
Presented to Penn for successfully working towards minimizing environmental impacts of its operations - Blaenau Gwent Environmental Awards
Penn sponsors the "Schools Environmental Award", which was judged and presented by the company’s EHS Manager. This is part of Penn’s corporate social responsibility, and contribute to our aim to promote environmental awareness and personal development. - SaBRE (Supporting Britain’s Reservists and Employers)
Penn as an employer is a supporter of the volunteer reserve forces,(the company does not as yet employ any reservists). - Local University Representation

To enhance the quality of product presentation to the visually impaired, Penn includes a product description written in BRAILLE on the outer packaging of certain products.
Penn also support Tenovus as their corporate charity and organise events throughout the year for staff and their families in order to raise money for the South Wales-based Cancer Charity.
