Job Description:
You will report to the Logistics Manager, supporting both Tredegar and Oakdale Warehouse Operations. The main purpose of the role is to help ensure a world class and continuously improving distribution service to the client base for all Penn ambient and cold chain despatches.

You will be responsible for the safe, cost effective and on time despatch of a diverse range of products for Penn Pharma.Products despatched include ambient, 2-8 degrees celsius, -20 degrees celsius, controlled drug and dangerous goods often to time critical deadlines. You will be the site distribution link between day to day Logistic operations and a range of internal and external stakeholder groups.

You will be responsible for maintaining ongoing compliance for all Dangerous Goods shipments to the current IATA regulations and ensure all products despatched from Penn meet all Legal, Quality and H&S legislative and procedural requirements.

Ideal Candidate:
You will be of graduate calibre with a relevant degree or minimum of 5 years Distribution / Transport equivalent experience in a leadership role.A proficiency in standard TMSs, MRPII, Microsoft and SAGE applications along with excellent client facing, communication and inter-personnel skills and an excellent knowledge of GMP/GDP is essential.

Logistics / supply chain professional; member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply or the Freight Transport Association, CPC - Certificate of Professional Competence and first line supervisory experience are also desirable.
