Paul is a chartered chemist and registered permanent European Qualified Person (QP). He is also a chartered scientist and a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD).

He has worked in a number of Quality Assurance and manufacturing posts in the pharmaceutical industry with Parke Davis/Warner Lambert and Nycomed Amersham.

Penn joined Penn in 2001 and has overall responsibility for the company's services departments including formulation & analytical development, clinical trial supply packing, labelling, storage and distribution.
