John has more than 20 years experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. He joined Penn from Marix Drug Development Ltd, where he held the position of Commercial Director.

He previously worked at UCB Pharma Ltd in the UK and was later appointed UCB General Manager, Asia. He started his career at Wellcome Plc after graduating with a BSc in Biochemistry in 1982.

John joined Penn in 2006 and has overall responsibility for Specials, contract manufacture and Business Development outside of the Americas.
